The music industry of Nigeria includes many popular artists, the likes of Naira marley, Davido, Wizkid and Burna boy. These four are currently regarded as the kings of the music industry.

Naira marley

Born in Agege, Afeez Fashola also known as Naira marley is a popular Nigerian music artiste and the president of his controversial fan base "Marlians".

The 25 year old had no intentions of venturing into music but his talent was discovered when he was asked by his companions in Peckham to sing in one of their account session.

After discovering his talent, the musician decided to investigate music which turned to be the best decision when he was brought to limelight after releasing his first Melody with Olamide and Lil kesh in the song titled "ISSA GOAL" .

Eversince then, he has been releasing hit songs consecutively, especially the one titled "AM I A YAHOO BOY" which landed him in trouble with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC).

Now to his songs, although naira marley songs are mixtures of hip hop and gang languages. But in Nigeria, the youths don't really care about the lyrics as long as the beat of the songs keeps them dancing.

Naira marley has a thing for releasing hit songs that will definitely go viral in days, what about his song titled "SOAPY" which went viral in days all because of the dance steps and intriguing leg work.

This is definitely why Naira marley will continue to rule the music industry for a long time. Although Burna boy was trending last year because of his hit songs but Naira marley is a King when it comes to Nigeria music.

Even Davido and Wizkid who has been in the music industry for a very long time can not compete with Naira marley in ruling the music industry, because Naira marley has a great knowledge of the skills for making his music sold out. This year is definitely Naira's year.
